Nubes Concerto

Nubes Concerto was written by Christian Blaha as a contribution to a music project based on the famous novel ‘Cloud Atlas’ by David Mitchell. It was commissioned by Muziek Podium Zeeland (MPZ) for Nieuw Amsterdams Peil (NAP).

First performance in presence of David Mitchell January 17th 2008, Zeeuwse Concertzaal Middelburg by Nieuw Amsterdams Peil (NAP): Eline van Esch (flute), Arco van Zon (oboe), Lars Wouters van den Oudenweijer (clarinet), Heleen Hulst (violin), Jörg Brinkmann (cello) and Gerard Bouwhuis (piano).
